Welcome to the Cinderella Pantomime Review at Thameside Theatre! Here is a
full review with parts the show told as well as effects and cast so if you still
waiting to see the show PLEASE DO NOT READ SPOILERS ALERT!

Once Entering the auditorium the magic is set with candles on the walls as
well as banners of night sky and a well themed stage coving up all the lights,
effects and speakers at the bottom of stage with scenery as well as the curtains
with scenery at the top.
The show started at 2:36PM with the opening announcement done by Buttons.
Then the music starts with good time as the moving heads go around the audience
disco balls are springing to get everybody ready. The show starts with Fairy
Flustered introducing herself and then Fairy Superior introduces herself. The
show then opens as the fairy's sing then dash off as Cinderella comes on
followed by Buttons in a song with prince charming and Dandini. and the dancers
to welcome everyone to the panto. The dancing was great part from a few errors
with the children dancers. Buttons entered with the bill theme playing. The 2
evil stepdaughters enterted though the real of the auditorium walking down to
the stage. During a scene Buttons accidently ripped 1 of the dames dressers
which was not meant to happen but was funny to watch as the dame replied with
you ripped my dress! After a another song there's a blackout and then the 2
dames enter dressed in Im a Celeb clothes with the theme music playing as they
are in the jungle. After a few muck ups the dame starts joking by saying that's
a quick costume change. Fairy Flustered deecrised as a old lady enters in a
funny way on a mobility scooter with L on the back.
After that Cinders meets the prince where they perform a song together.
Before the end of act 1 Buttons try's to cheer Cinderella after the evil
stepsisters rip her invite to the royal ball! Fairy Flustered helps by making
her wish come true. A song is sung while the black tabs close so a carriage can
quickly be placed on stage and then Cinderella makes her way to the ball.
Act 2
opens with Fairy Flustered and Superior. Then we see the ball where good time is
performed. The evil stepsisters enter at the ball and tell some jokes about
Grays girls and poking fun at the audience. They argue over the prince of who
should be his princess. The prince accidently steps on one of there dressers and
prince starts laughing as he breaks and step sisters say he broke my dress the
prince continued to do he's line while trying not to laugh. The Balley was
great as the dames come on in tue tues doing balley and bursting almost every
ballon then one bursts right under Wains...You guest it gooles. Its then time
for the monster scene and as the dames enter the first thing one wain says is iv
got my dress on back to front as he had the pumpkin on the wrong way. They sing
there favourite songs which includes dancing to GANGNAM STYLE then they sing
gimme gimme gimme by ABBA as the monster tiger appears. The dames come back on i
the next scene by joking by saying that's a quick change i tell ya! While trying
to do a scene with Buttons they just couldn't get there lines out which was so
funny and had to try it again. As Buttons reads the mail he had it the wrong way
round and turns it which aint meant to happen. He gets his lines wrong and dame
says you get it wrong and its on paper. Its soon time for the sing song which is
with the stepsisters as they enter from the back of the auditorium. They sing
xmas melody's after the messages which they did a great job at picking on the
audience. Buttons picks the winning the team and does the melody super fast as
the dames go get changed. There were no sweets given out this year. It then time
for the finale with happily ever after performed by Fairy Superior as the cast
do there bows and prince charming and Cinderella share a kiss then the curtains
close and lights come up.
The Evil Stepsisters played by Wain Douglas and Andrew Lazus did a great
job as the dames making everyone laugh throughout with there jokes even though
they kept mucking up and laughing it made it even funnier as they tried and
continued. They were really funny while talking to the audience two.
Buttons Played by Chris Simmons did a great job at his part he mucked up a
couple times but continued and made it more funny.
Cinders Played by Eloise Smith did a great job at the part with an amazing
singing voice.
Prince Charming played by Cameron Birch did a great job continuing while
laughing cause muck ups.
All the rest of the cast where great two with great dancers and
singers!
Id give this years panto a 10/10 the mistakes made make it even funnier. It
was great with a bit of Gangnam Style aswell as the amazing cast i cant wait to
see it again on 6th Jan and to book for next years Jack And The Beanstalk Great
pantomime guys keep up the good work!
